Lobsters are nocturnal and while very pretty aren't going to be seen much.They are also predatory So any fish in that small tank will be at risk imo.

T5 fixtures are pretty easy to fix.Its either the bulbs,switch,or ballast. I would keep it as a backup

The glue dries fairly quickly. Just run fresh carbon and wait as long as you can to restart. Fwiw i was a plumber too.lol
