Shrimp Goby Mindy.;)Sorry for your loss.:(
Keep us updated on your choice.:)
Yikes.Harlequins will definitely eat them Matt.:)
I think you will be much happier and better off building your own.
What kind was it ??
There are many species of Asterina so lumping them all together is not really fair. Here are some great links....
You can gently squirt some of the necrotic tissue away with a syringe or turkey baster and/or dip it.It may recover on its own.
In moderation they will make your red/pink corals look better but that wl can cause algae to grow faster. You too bud.:)
They are really for fw or planted tanks E. http://www.amazon.com/Wave-Point-Wave-54-Watt-High-Output/dp/B0029UH8BS
I don't use mechanical filtration but as long as they are cleaned regularly(like every day lol) it sounds like enough to me.
Great job!! I need to do this one day........:)
Anytime Bro!!:) Edit : I almost forgot and DSC is actually correct .Just be sure you change out the restrictor to match your gpd....
It does. You can use almost any gpd membrane with your setup as they are mostly universal.
I love my MP10.The new Gyre looks promising but pricey.http://www.3reef.com/threads/the-maxspect-gyre-arrives-this-week.155571/#post-1567126
Unless you control your nutrient level it will come back unfortunately.
Sorry Matt can't help you.I have a "dumb" phone.lol
To keep salinity stable it is necessary to add fresh water every day.Especially when running the heat.
Do you have someone to add fresh water??Are the lights on a timer??
Cool WT.The tank looks fantastic!!
The white stuff is probably just proteins forming on the surface.Increase surface agitation.Picture of it will help.
