No problem cosmo, waiting beats no light at all ;) don't go out of your way to send it.
Its actually not an "awful lot" the ocean's turnover can be far greater on certain parts of the reef. ;) i run about 108X on my biocube 14 and my SPS...
From what i understand, they are one of the easier NPS, but NPS are extremely hard to care for, requiring daily, if not periods of constant feeding....
Not much, it'd have to be able to deal with potentially dramatic changes in the tank.
Are the purple and orange sea whips photosynthetic?
IMO ich spots are more flat, so im gonna say no to ich, however that doesn't rule other parasites out. Good luck with the ID
Also looks like pseudocorynactis, i used to have some that looked JUST like that.
looks kinda like a tenius.
Congratz! may all tanks now prosper ;D
Google images barnacle, thats more than likely what it is, they came in all the time on maricultured (grown in the ocean) corals. Cool tag-a-longs...

Some things to be noted: Don't dose unless you can test for it, stability is key for coral growth. Frogspawn and torch (LPS) are relatively slow...
Its important to keep in mind that brine shrimp are very nutritious, as Mr. Bill put it "Brine shrimp are like potato chips to us." Try to ween them...
Welcome to 3reef, i would say go with the couple of U's he'll pick which on he wants, and later on he'll probably make some other tunnel if he wants.
Wow impressive collection you've got there ;)
Well according to that, it couldn't hurt to use it, just use in moderation. However I've always been weary of these "Do all, 10X coral growth"...
its not as clear as i would like :/ [IMG]
