I would suggest nuking the live rock but if time is a factor I would just buy base rock instead. all the rock in my tank is nuked from my other tank...
I run my whites for 5 hours at 50%. Tank is 29 biocube 1 ft 8" x 1ft 3" x 16" high. mostly sps some lps and a few softies. costume leds rapidled...

I went out yesterday and bought the red-sea coral colors test kit and supplements. I must say the potassium test takes about 30 - 40 mins wow....
