    why would you want to? this is not a cheap hobby, and lights are no place to skimp. if money is a problem, maybe go with a smaller tank.

    Personally, I would not be comfortable using water from the beach, or from a LFS. You have no idea what is it the water, how they filtered it, etc....

    Too much light for an Anemone?

    I wouldnt think it would be too much light. Maybe just adjusting? It should move in time if it doesnt like the light its getting.
