    Just be aware that the damsels are very aggressive and territorial fish... a lot of lfs sell them to cycle the tank but I made that mistake before...

    How do I reduce film algae?

    I would go by peredhil's advice... make sure you get the right one. My tank is optical glass but make sure before you spend the money.

    Get a decent magfloat, they are great and I use it every other day.. otherwise my glass starts turning green too. That's inevitable and normal.

    Went to my lfs today and he re-arranged his tanks... has a lot of freshwater but some marine in the back and he told me too that a lot of people walk...
