I am happy to report that 3reef's Classic Smilies are now an option on the new site. This was supposed to be an easy thing, but it took me three tries. For each classic smilie, all 200+ of them, I had to perform 3 actions to import them successfully. I knew for some, this lunacy was worth it. These particular smilies are part of the 3reef legacy, many dating back to the YaBB (Yet Another Bulletin Board) years from over 10 years ago. Enjoy.

Per request, I took a look at the photo size limitation for uploading as an attachment around here. I compared it to the old site and realized it was much smaller. I raised it to match. It is now 400000kb which I believe is 4 megabytes. 4 times larger. That should help.

Opening a browser on my phone and typing '3reef.com' got really old, so I added some code that makes 3reef app-like with a bigger display and a shortcut icon on your phone's home screen. Instructions below.

Note: I had to do some voodoo here so please report any issues opening links while in this mode. It did work in my tests, but I only have an iPhone.

This mode is great and easy to use. It will buy me a little time while I develop a true 3reef app with push notifications and more.

Welcome to the new 3reef.com! Everything has been upgraded to the latest and greatest just for you. 3REEF AQUARIUM SHOWCASE





The 3reef Aquarium Showcase extends on our Show Off Your Fishtank! board. We will begin to regularly highlight aquariums from that board within the 3reef Aquarium Showcase. The highlight will have an overview of the featured member’s aquarium, tank specs and image gallery. Members can rate and review the aquarium setup. Additionally, a discussion thread will automatically be started on the new Showcase board.

I've been squashing bugs around here for days and I believe we are now to the point with stability that I am turning on the site. However, do to the thousands of moving parts here, I am sure there is bound to be things I have not thought of that you might discover.

Please share anything that you notice that may be a bug. I will update this post with all known bugs as we discover them.
