Browsing eBay recently I came across this 1920 Art Deco aquarium and my jaw dropped. This 68"H x 75"W x 22"D gorgeous aquarium is in excellent condition for its age. I immediately contacted Antiquarian Traders for more information. Mark Slotkin tells me in his 35 years of being an antique dealer, he has never come across an aquarium like this. He runs his business out of Beverly Hills so that says a lot. As with all old aquariums, you would need to redo the glass and seals. But just look at it. This would be a stunning reef aquarium. Somebody buy this now. Please.

Not sure how I got on the Zhongshan OSMO lighting company email list but check out these LED gatling guns marketed as "Street/Garden lights." This has to be pushing the amount of LEDs you can stuff on an E27 nipple and a perverse amount of aluminum heatsink. You have to admire the attitude. With a maximum color temp of 7000k, these oddities won't have many applications over a reef aquarium. Perhaps nestled between some vertical algae mats in an algae scrubber. Or just put them on a spinning base and bust out the Iron Butterfly.
