    I Photoshopped in this aquarium because the tank, lighting and live rock placement (center weighted to cover the overflow apparatus as much as possible) are all what we are envisioning.

    Looks good, do you have a basement to put the sump in? With the placement of that tank you will want it as quiet as possible. You should look at a closed loop system, would help that tank with its placement stay "clean" of equipment obstructing views.

    James - No, no basement, I live in Florida so the sump etc. will have to go in the cabinet under the tank. My husband is thinking of building the cabinet for the aquarium (he built the entertainment center wall that's holding the TV and fireplace in the background of that picture) and we're considering using QuietRock (soundproof drywall) and/or QuietWood (soundproof wood) to try to contain the noise.
