Over kill. The board that the RO/DI is mounted to supports at least 200lb shear. Extra support for using cannister wrench while canisters mounted. A job well done. IMAG0565 Elevated for five gallon buckets (water changes.) IMAG0560 1 1/4" saddle valve This is what your resin looks like when it is no longer able to perform. IMAG0562 Semi-permanent connection to cold juncture from wall before faucet. This sediment filter is discolored but hasen't been spent because PSI hasen't been limited.
The stage on the far right, the DI resin, is spent....one, because of its color....two, because a two part TDS meter tells me that entering TDS remains in large 1/2" hole one drive from under the sink on the bathroom side straight through to my fish room.

I was thinking about mounting the saddle valve below the collar. There isn't room above this collar on the back side for the saddle valve. Below it I'd be drilling a gray piece of PVC under the white one as well.
Also, the drain insert is metal so...does that make that area out of the question?
