For o2 i have a koralia 2 pointed up at surface,+ my return pipe from cannister filter, then theres the bubbles that hit the surface from the airline...

You may want to mesh u that filter intake and powerheads also, not very nice having an anemone stuck in there, just an idea?
I used fully cured l/r , normal sand ,in my tank and added a damsel on about week 2 he got the cycle moveing along and within 6/7 weeks it had...

A nice easy hardy coral would be some mushrooms, i have just added some to my tank, got 18 on a piece of rock, beauties they are, whatever you get...
