try Kent Marine Nitrate Sponge, i pulled mine off the rock, added that into the back of my HOB filter, and havnt seen GHA or cyno since.
i believe most all supplements are a waste of time/money, the only additive i really use is iodine, and thats very rare still, why do you need that...
