    The drain should be the 1" and the return 3/4". What I meant was if the tank is empty, try to get another mega flow installed.

    The most important factor for BTA is lighting and flow. Once it finds a sweet spot it stays there. I dont see a problem.

    For a FOWLR tank, all you need is; PH, NH3, NO2, NO3 and SG. If you want a reef tank, then add the following; Mag, Dkh/Alk, PO4, Str and Cal.
