Put some 3 in 1 oil on the threads of the bulkhead before you tighten it so it will crank down smooth and tight. Just a couple of drops will do.

Take the nut off the back side of the bulkhead and put some plumbers puddy up in there around the hole. Just role it up like a snake and pack it up...

That 55 gal will make a perfect sump on a 180 or 215 gal tank. I had a 55 before I stepped up to a 265 and never had a problem with it. It housed 94...
