I would say yes and no. If the corals only lighten in color but nothing else then OK, but if they retract then I would say you have a problem.

Yes in a way, the zooxanthellae are also producing more food than the coral can use. So they eject zooxanthellae to balance out everything.

You could try to remove it by gently brushing with a tooth brush.
That is zooxanthellae ejection, the corals are getting all of the energy they need from your lighting alone.
You could go with the 108W but with only two bulbs it is hard to cover the color spectrum effectively. Definitely go with the 4 bulb if you can.
They will have a truce soon.
You should be able to keep just about any coral you want with placement based on light need. Get a KZ Fiji Purple or UVL 75/25 or UVL Actinic White...

Looks great. You can tell the sex of Pearl Gouramis by the male's dorsal fin being pointed and longer and the chest is more orange.
