    option 2, less working parts and you can fine tune the flow in. You want to use raw water into your fuge.

    New equpiment!

    You are going to about 6 ft of head with the description you gave. You won't need one to the sump. Use 1/4" acrylic for baffles.

    You can use the fluval for both mechanical and chemical filtration. I have a 205 that I use right now and will use when I complete my new build....

    Just put it up high where it will get good light and strong flow. Keep your calcium and alkalinity up and make sure your magnesium is at about 1300....

    Give them time, they may not drop off until they are an inch or larger in diameter. I think that inch will be their skeleton.

    Those look and sound like T5 NO bulbs. It may measure 16" but it is called 20".

    You have enough flow for your desired goal. BTW a 6X54W T5HO system will work perfectly well for SPS corals and clams.

    New bulbs for me

    Pretty deep blue, but great looking tank. You know the actinics have about 1/3 the PAR of the blue plus so they are not putting much usable light...
