    FYI, I would not shake your salt bucket. Roll it just like you are doing. Shaking will cause settling, while rolling will actually mix IMO.

    Don't rely on a check valve. It does not take much to have the ball not fully seal. I don't mind them being used in conjunction with other fail-safes...

    I used an Eshopps S-200 for my 55. It was actually 2 inches too wide to fit in my stand so I had to modify the stand to fit. Worked very well though....
