Well it is still new to your tank, so give it a little time. But the tentacles should come out at night, if not during the day while feeding.
After watching him for a couple hours today, he actually does appear to be pretty active. As soon as I put some Formula 2 flake food in, he perked...
Do you feed your plate coral? I feed mine daily. I have noticed that mine lost its dark orange color though, and is now a pale orange. I have since...
Should I start a Prazipro treatment either way?
Thanks Cheryl. It did eat frozen mysis last night. I will see if it will eat again in a little bit. I will still call the LFS and see what my options...
Thanks OFK. I am obviously hoping it is not velvet.
Since you did not specify, has your tank water tested fine (calc, alk, mag, N&P, pH, etc)? Is your salinity the same as the other tank?

Welcome to 3reef!

Welcome to 3reef! That is a beautiful tank you have there :)

I have either a BRS or F&S (they are the same as far as I can tell) and have had no issues with it after 7 months. As mentioned get the ATC model,...

Sounds like you are well on your way to a great tank! And you certainly could throw in a dead shrimp to help the cycle. It will also give the live...
Welcome to 3reef! What are your tank & system specs (size, filtration, lighting, etc) and what are your plans? And I agree, 4 months is a very long...
Beautiful tank and video! Thank you for sharing :)
I have 85 PSI city water that feeds my RO/DI with no issues. 70 PSI is no problem at all.
Mine is too. I have had mine for 6 months and still unless I am feeding, he will hide in the rockwork or behind the overflow whenever anyone walks by...
