    You are pulling out a lot of what the skimmer pulled with the carbon and GFO. I doubt anything is wrong with your skimmer.

    A little bend is OK, that is too much. You want it to stays as vertical as possible the whole way. You will need to trim it shorter.

    +1 +2 +3 Clean it thoroughly and carefully for the next time you need it. A gas mask might save you from retching.
