10 Gallon Skimmer?

Im running a Rio Nano Skimmer, and by looking at it, and most people not knowing what it is, im assuming its probably a lower quality skimmer, any suggestions as to which good brand I should get? Would this be harmful if I switched now?(Two months in with a clown) or would I run both at the same time and eventually go to using just the new?

 

I doubt the nano skimmers are really effective, but I have no experience with them. I hear alot of people talk about a remora skimmers for smaller tanks.

However on a tank your size you can totally replace the skimmer with frequent water changes, On large tanks it becomes to hard on the hobbyiest to do that. that said a skimmer really makes things so much easier.
