hmm. Was there support on the the glass bottom, aside from just the reg, edge supports? I mean were there any supports that went across the underside of the tank?

I just spoke to Marineland customer service - as I just ordered their Deep Dimension 150, and they say pre-drilled tanks are not tempered.

You would think, since it is not/cannot be tempered, it would be much thicker glass. Guess not. :/

if you want to drill a tank you cannot have a tempered bottom. it will shatter if you try. alot of tanks are not tempered bottoms for this reason. any tank you see that has a internal overflow is this way.
There has to be a reason this tank cracked. falling rock, unlevel, something. i doubt it was because it was a marineland tank that this happened. how many people with marineland tanks had them crack? they are one of the main brands for tank manufacturers.

I can't believe your 110 was only 3/8" thick on the bottom. My drilled 75 is 3/4" on the bottom.
