    I may be wrong but I thought some predrilled tanks are tempered, by drilling the glass then tempering it.

    yes it was perfectly level, the only thing i can think is i overtightend the bulk head fitting?

    yes like a center support, yes the bottom is the same as the top brace?

    That's true. Tanks from Central Garden and Pet (Aqueon/All Glass Aquarium/Oceanic) are often tempered after they are drilled.

    seem to be doing fine but i only have 2 powerheads in there till i can fix the 120?

    Glad things seem ok now. LOL I was reading everything and was like Crap my new tank is Marineland LOL.

    yea but IMO all tanks are made of glass and a lot have plastic rims just like the marineland ones? i do think there overflow design is not the best but i still like there tanks myself? i will just make the bottom stronger this time.

    One thing you could do this time, is to reinforce the bottom of the tank with another piece of glass, just as some do with smaller tanks when housing mantis shrimp, to prevent breaking of the glass. I don't know how much that would cost though. It could be quite a bit. But if it helps?
