    My tank is also a marineland. im not really worried though. they are good tanks imo.
    good luck to you though and i hope you get it all sorted out.
    im suprised no one said this yet. pics or it didnt happen.

    and here is the last five,man that silicone was tight to get the razor blade in between. and i ordered a piece of 1/2" for the replacement.:eek:$161:eek:.

    Im hearing this a lot. I have a 75 g Marineland Perfecto Tank and I hope It never springs a leak, man that would seriously mess things up. I have the exact same corner flow too, this thread makes me nervous!

    Sorry, but from those pictures, it looks like the crack originated from the bulkheads. Could you have overtightened it too much?

    What did Marineland say? Will they replace it? Although I've had my share of frustrations with Marineland (particularly their heaters), they have phenomenal customer service....

    Looks like pressure on the bulk head pipes and or unlevel stand.
    your doing a good job getting that panel off.

    I'd guess it's from angular force thru the bulkhead, from the plumbing? Was the tank hard-plumbed or was it using flexible stuff?

    It looks like the bottom is same thickness as sides. I always figured if the bottom wasn't tempered it would be very thick?

    Sorry for your mess - it's great u can put the new pane in yourself. Don't know if I could diy that one!

    yes i did do some work on the bulk heads 2 weeks ago im sure it my fault?
