    lol, panfish you have a good point.
    When I got into reef tanks and was looking for my first coral purchase at my LFS I was thinking to myself the whole time '$60 for this, $150 for that am I getting ripped off? who would pay for such expensive little corals?' 3 years later I'm pretty numb to the price tag but will still aim for some kind of "deal" or combined sale price. A lot of work goes into shipping and then caring for all sea creatures.

    That's because its dead lol ;)
    This fish was so recently discovered that this is the picture used to represent it to the scientific communitee, since it is dead it lost a lot of its pigmentation, since in the deep pigmentation costs a fish's Metabolism a lot to produce since there isn't that much food to go around.
    Sorry to go on, but most deepwater fish are yellow and pink because it costs them less metabollically to create these pigments and on the deep reefs its all black and white anyways.

    i think spending over 200 is way ridiculous for a fish, dragon morays, conspicuous angels? all over a thousand bucks holy crap!
