now the guy had it set up to where one of those fans sucked air in and the other blew it out, i decided that i was going to replace the one that blow air into it and put it a much larger one.
this came in just the other day:

my chiller, skimmer, overflow, and most of my pumps are all coming in some time this week or next, hopefully soon. i also have like 70 or 80 pounds of live rock coming in at the same time, and an additional 60 pounds or so of base rock that has been turned live for the bottom of the rock structer.

If you got ALL that equipment for just $100.00, you are truly one lucky sob. Keep the pics coming and I wish you the best. REMEMBER to go slow my friend. Luna

BTW, great job on the stand.

ok so i think i found a way out of this whole 4-6 week cycle period. my freind is taking down his 100 gallon reef, and has always had 0 ammonia 0 nitratea and 0 nitrites and has a really nice system. I think i am going to take his 75 pounds of live rock, my like 50 pounds (i dont know how many pounds is in mine) and 60 pounds of base rock that ahs been turned live ( from a different freinds tank) and fill the 135 with the 100 of salt water. use all the rock. aqua scape it. acclimate my fish to it, then put my water from my 55 gallon tank in there. or since my water is not nearly as nitrate free as his is, just put 35 gallons of new salt water in there?
let me know if thats a stupid idea???

What do i do about the 100 pounds of live sand in my 55 gallon tank? should i tranfer it. i really dont want to buy that much more live sand. or rather cant buy that much more.
