While the Aquapod was a good starter kit for reefing, there is just too much I want that it can't provide. With that in mind, I have decide to build a nano from the ground up. I got a DIY glass cube from the LFS, had it drilled and am now working on the stand. I will include pics as the build progresses.

Moved out to the cabin so I would stop tearing up the kitchen.

You can see in the last picture that the end of a 5.5 gallon is sticking out. I want to do a display fuge, but I am not sure how to do it in a way that looks nice. Any thoughts on how to set it up??

I also got some plumbing pieces. I like the way it looks, but I need to cut the drain down to the proper height. The Lok-Line is wrapped over the lip of the tank. How waterproof is Lok-Line?

if you drilled a drain line, why not drill a return line too?

The side glass is all tempered so it can't be drilled, and I didn't want to run two pipes up from the bottom. I considered one big hole and trying to plumb the return and drain through the same hole but that made my head hurt.
