The plumbing is done, but the drain is a bit louder than I would like.

The light is a 38PAR 21 watt LED by Evil66. I got it in the 12000K with 60 degree optics. Here is a quick side-by-side between a 60 watt incandescent and the 21 watt LED.

After searching the nearest three towns for the perfect light fixture I finally gave up and just made my own for around eight dollars.

Nice photos. How big is your cube build? Do you have a build page?

    Thanks.

I don't have a page as of yet, but I've been taking pictures of everything as I move along.

My tank is a 25G. At this point in time, it's a FOWLR, plus tons of algae. Lol.

I have 2 clowns, 1 pajama cardinal, a yellow tail damsel, and some other random fish, plus a clean up crew.

School is almost over, I have 3 weeks till finals, then I"ll be done for the summer. At that point, I'm going to be building a stand, and allowing space for, but not necessarily adding a sump yet. We'll see how things move along.

I just ordered an aquaC remora hang-on skimmer. I've read tons of excellent reviews about it, so hopefully that'll aid in my battle against this algae.

Expect a build thread in the next few weeks. I'll PM you when it's up.. but I doubt it's going to be as cool as yours. ;)

I can totally sympathize with the school thing. My build started during spring break and was clipping along nicely until class started up again.
