Well that would be the "least of it" i think, lol

10,000 pnds of live rock ? ( or somthing near too ) ? hell the cost would be ridiculouis just to "choose some form of rock"

Filtration >? LOL, how many skimmers ya gonna have ?

Dosing calcium , controlling alk/ph would be ...costly there !

Not to even mention the "NEED" for some sort of huge wave maker for it ,
ya cant have a 1,000 power heads in there...lol
So ya gotta have some large wave maker/ and probly 10 huge pool pumps

Sand would be easy.. i should think ya could buy that by the ton there
( it be brown though )

But why bother ?... when you most likely dont live any where near the equater / coast ( southeren parts ) BY where there would be enough photo period ( 14 hours of intence sun ) for like 6 months out of the year
Your not not gonna do this in new york or michigan / less its enclosed , and then heat it ?
LOL, lets not even think of you living in arizona , got a chiller the size of a buick ?

hell if you got that kinda money just move o the coast and go scuba diving every day...lol

    But nice thought though...lol

Are there not any oceans that are cold all the time? Or fluctuate year round? Would have to be very picky on livestock :)

Good topic, I was just sayin the other day that even if I won the lottery I wouldn't get a tank over 120 unless I was payin someone to take care of it!

:hehe: Im still working on getting the pool, and your thinking of converting yours into a reef . :deal2: Ill make you a deal you give me that money and move down to where Im at and ill take you diving everyday.;D

Ok seriously speaking I dont think its worth it, unless your extremely rich and have nothing else to do with the money, in which case I can think of something for it involving wire transfers.

it gets during the summer any where from 90 being the collest to 105 on average (i live near saccramento) (rocklin) its just dreaming at this point ahha, but imean if it were in door i am sure it would be easier ahha, at monteray bay aquarium they have a machine that makes waves, i am sure its not too much cash, lol, it would be awsome for me to do this one day though, and then charge ppl like 100 bucks to go scuba diving, get sh** payed for take like 10-20 ppl in a day makin bank ahahhah
