    Has anyone put a bag of carbon in the lower part of the first chamber under the false panel? and would it work there?

    I think i will. I pulled out the panel and there is a lot of room under it. I will go to the LFS and get the stuff

    So i got some carbon and a media bag and have put a 1/4 cup of carbon in it. There is flow there so i hope it works

    i put mine in the top of the first, and GFO at the third.

    in mine i use it in the bottom of the second chamber, i layered from the bottom up chemipure then a few bioballs to give a drip layer then i use a 1/4 cup of carbon in a bag then a few more bioballs then i fill the rest of the gap with filter floss...put the drip tray in and ur golden!;D

    how did you do that i have my Protein Skimmer there
