so i am in the process of starting a fuge and realized that my stand will not fit a 20g long aquarium(30x12x12) underneath my stand since it fits a 30 inch aquarium.... (meaning the underneaths length is only about 28 1/2 inchs).

my question is has anyone successfully made a decent 15g (24x12x12) fuge?

if so id like some re-assurance before i attempt it.

    great thanks! :)

i figured so because a 15 gallon is only differant from a 20 gallon by the length... so i guess just proportion the baffles to 24 inchs vs 30 inchs

If you go with a 20 gal which is 4 in longer you could also fit a protein skimmer in it. I have one and it's working perfect

20 high would be good, you can get more water in there!
