I'm going to be setting up a 20 gallon AIO tank and was looking at lighting and I am torn between MH and T5. What do the rest of you think?

Metal Halides would be my preference, I just like the light you get and the shimmer effect. They do add a little more heat, but I had a 150w clip on halide over my 29 and never had a problem with heat. T-5's are cooler running if heat is an issue. Why not look into LEDs? If you look at the cost of replacement bulbs in T-5's and MH's than the LEDs become the more cost effective route IMO.
    Hope my ramblings have helped,
    Jake

I'm not sure that I trust LEDs yet. Where the technology is still developing, I'd rather go with something that has proven to work.
