So finally i have started my 200 gallon mixed reef tank, i am currently running a red sea max 250, i bought it because i thought it would save space im over space i want a big fish tank, so the new one will be 700 liter tank L 7' x W 1.5 x D 2

Bought the timber today at bunnings i guess like home depot (never been to home depot) cost around 100 bucks. Knocked it together this afternoon with the help of a friend and his trusty nail gun. Its still not finished gotta brace the bottom , then i can cover it up make it look nice tank is not ordered yet im waiting to confirm the size of the stand, this thing is mammoth well for me anyway having never been over 4 foot, any suggestions on the clad would be appreciated ill get some more photos as its completed.

The tank will be used to divide the living area and kitchen in my unit it will be nice to hide the dishes although water is transparent lol. and eventually buy my achilles tang which i have wanted since day one of owning reef tanks about 4 years ago. i still consider myself a newbie, although i have learnt to take it slow as i have been instructed by the members on this site again and again.

oh apologies for the poor photos my phone isn't what is use to be :)

Stand looks good, 1/8" panelling will work for cladding.

whats the pine paneling like when you pain it does it still have a texture i was kinda hoping for less of a wood textured look
pretty pumped i was hoping to get this stand built under 100 bucks. i was dreaming lol
    but i think under 250 - 300 is doable
