    well i seen the new fixtures and i was wondering if i should upgrade my Coralife 2x150w fixture with the new Odyssea 2x250w MH fixture

    What size is your tank sgh360? mainly depth is important when considering wattage of MH lamps

    and what corals are you keeping or intending to keep?

    Is a mixed reef on a 75G tank.

    In that case
    if you have SPS corals in there the 250 watts would be a good upgrade IMO

    but if you do, dont forget to allow an acclimatisation period for the corals
    set the light up about 12 inches higher than the light you have now and then lower it 2 inch per week over 6 weeks

    or cut the time by half and then increase 1 hour each week ( so if your using 150 watts for 10 hours now, when you move to 250 watts light them up for 5 hours only 1st week, then 6 hours following week etc

    watch the corals , especially LPS corals for signs of bleaching - if they start to lose colour decrease the light or increase the height the light is at, until they adjust
