After the cleanup of my at least 4 inch hair algae problem, this is what the aquascape turned out to look like. I tried being creative with it. tell me what you think! o ya and this picture was taken about an hour after cleanup. And yes, i emptied the skimmer while i was cleaning, therefor it collected that much skimmate in just 1 hour! The skimmer is working great...

In desperate attempt to try to eliminate all algae from my tank, i am trying the following (in order, too)
    - Buy a phosphate reactor and let it do its thing for like a month
    - After a month or so, take all the rocks out and scrub them clean with a toothbrush
    - Do a 20% water change and in the process, clean the tank SPOTLESS
    - Make a pvc outline and build my rocks on that and drill them ext...
    - From there on, use ro-di to top-off
If algae comes back after all that:
    - Nuke the rocks completely
    - Take out ALL of the water and replace it with ro-di saltwater
    - And of coarse top off with ro-di
(in essence, to start over, kinda...)

you see, my inspiration is seeing all these algae free tanks and then looking at mine. I mean dont get me wrong, it looks great when its cleaned up but i just have no motivation to clean it anymore because i know the algae will just come back again... i wish i could freeze my tank at this stage right here!

Dude your tank looks great. I'm now inspired to do a smaller system for my bedroom. keep up the good work. I too just purchased a leather. Very cool addition. I'm guessing you got it from reefcentral?

Great tank setup! I was looking at the CADLIGHTS fish tanks and I was impressed with the design. I just changed my mind and went to 65g tank and then I moved up to a 120g tank and you betcha I went for a 210g awesome tank. If you look at pictures I have in my profile you could see the different arrangements of aquascape. Caves are great for the fish and they look cool. I like your rock and the two caves you have. You have pieces that are too small discard them in favor of larger rocks. Fish like to goof on each other and they need space within the rocks to chase each other around without damaging their bodies. Aside from everything you have a nice tank that will mature nicely. Good luck:cheesy:
