    Smaller than the one you have. Needs to be a juvenile, and one that has not been separated from other clowns.

    get one thats tiny so you can be sure its a male, and still theres no gaurentee theyll become a mated pair

    You just need a juvenile that has not been separated from other clowns. Tank raised is best for this reason as they tend to be kept together and are usually sold while still fairly young. I wouldn't say it need to be the absolute smallest of the bunch, but you definite don't want one of the biggest of the group.

    choose a smaller one or juevenile to avoid the chance of getting to females which could be catastrpohic
