2nd pair of clownfish?

    Sooo I am looking and shopping around for new fish and I was wondering if a could keep 2 pairs of clownfish in my RSM 130d. It already have 1 pair of clownfish and a coral beauty. Maybe piccasos? Can I do this? Tank size: 34 gallons

    No, dont do it..Any tank really under 75g should be only 1 pair..I tryed 2 pairs in a 30g and it DEF did not work..haha..

    Mostly..The clowns will take control of a side of tank and if they see any other clownfish in there they will kill it most likely unless the 2 clownfish that were in there previously are not paired or mated..But once 2 of them become a pair, they defend their area and a 34g is not large enough to have enough room for 2 pairs.


    I know someone who had 3 clowns in a 29g but the reason was because they were not offically paired, and once one of the clowns became of female, one of the males paired up with the female and they were attacking the other male clown.
