I am looking at a 30 gallon DSA tank which is 24x24x12. It s a nice looking tank, drilled with a small 18x18x12 sump. I would put up some nice LEDs overhead. I could also go for a 30x30x24 93 gallon tank also drilled with a sump. Other than the increased difficulty of a smaller tank, any other input or things to think of before i make my decision?

I've always preferred smaller tanks, and I've never had any issues. Just a lot easier to get things in and out. You also have less maintenance. :D

That said, tank size should be determined by what you plan to keep. Research max sizes and growth rate of individual species and go from there.
