    I have seen a pretty big algae bloom since the addition of my emperor 400.. What could be the cause of this.. It has macroalgae in it.

    I would bring your lights down to 8-10 hours a day and feed less until it goes away.

    Alright, I'll Change the lighting schedule. Moonlights don't count right? Mine are pretty dim.

    No, moonlights wont grow algae. Algae feeds on light in the 6,000-14,000k are. Your moonlights are probably like 20,000k.

    Alright, well I lowered the light time by a lot and turned the moonlight on more.
