i have 2-3200 gph powerheads in my 115g. i turned 1 on and it was way too much for my chromis. they tumbled everywhere with just one on. i have 2 koralia 750's in the bottom of my tank that seem to be just fine for them. they like to get in the current and swim against it. my question is should i get 2 more 750's or something a little stronger? the 2 750's i have running now are not enough to circulate the water. they do keep dead spots off the bottom but i dont have anything to aggitate the top of the water.

IMO, 2 more 750's would be plenty. You could have two on the side walls on opposite sides and two on the back wall aimed slightly up and forward. This is just an oponion. Water movement is really trial and error.

I'd go with at least 2 1050s. Possibly 1400s, depending on how much flow you want. 4 750s will not be enough.

    In my 120, I have 4 1400's and 4 K1's.

I have them timed such that 2 1400's alternate with the other two.... clockwise flow for an hour then counter clockwise flow for an hour. The 4 K1's are on a wave maker and alternate as well.

    Good flow for my tank....

i just put directionals on my 3200's and this seems to have helped. my fish even seem to really like it. so i have both 3200's going. one side points towards the front and to the bottom and the other side to the back and top. the other 3200 is set up the same way but opposite. my clowns are really taking advantage of this but my chromis while i do beleave they like having more current in the tank are staying more to the bottom now. my 3200's are hooked up to my lights so that when the lights go out so do the 3200's for calmer waters at night. my 750's do stay on but they are on a wave maker. what do you all think? will this be ok?
