I am thinking ordering 36 DIY LED from RapidLed.com. I want more, but I am on a budget. Here what I have in mind for the 36 LEDs.

    12 Royal Blue - on a dimmer
    12 White - on a dimmer
    6 Blue
4 UV - blue, uv , red, will be on 1 dimmer
    2 Red

Is that an OK mix? What would you guy think I should get? Thanks

I would absolutely keep the Reds. My coloration of my tank has gotten MUCH better since I added a Red spectrum in. My only concern is putting the Red on with the others.

No no...I meant on the same dimmer. If it were me, I'd separate it from the other dimmer...but that would mean more LEDs and on and on...

Honestly, if it were me, I'd save up a little cash and at least get 48 led's that way you can get a lower degree optic and get better penetration!IMO

Will 48 of the premium ultra enough for my 120g? What optic you think is better for my tank? The light going be under canopy about 6-7 in above water. Thank cosmo.
