    Then yes i would do a two bulb t5 fixture run a 10k and a 460nm will look nice! check out fishneedit.com decent stuff for great prices

    you could always do a aquablue plus and a actinic plus.

    Agreed, there is a guy on here with a 75 gallon tank running nothing but super blue/actinic bulbs. Although his tank looks gorgious and corals (LPS/Softies) look good, its way too blue for me........If I can find his thread Ill post it.

    If you can show me a healthy tank running for a year that includes high end sps corals i will admit defeat :)

    problem with that challenge might not be about the lighting capabilities to support and grow high end SPS corals

    problem may be that under just Actinic lighting tanks look great for 1st and last hour of the day, IMO but its not a look I would want for my DT in my front room for 10 - 12 hours each day

    I dont think that makes me unique to be honest - some like a overall blue colour, but most dont want a blue tank

    now a picture of a frag vat with high end SPS corals grown under just actinic lighting - that may be possible to find

    Cool, still waiting for the SPS tank :) and steve i agree it may look cool for a couple hours BUT i like the 12k-14k look the best!
