Went to the local group frag swap yesterday, looking specifically for some blue zoas. Got lucky and snagged some, along with some purple palys.

Then we went & picked up some corals my boyfriend bid on from Coral Creations, which fortunately is in our area so no shipping...yay! The guy was great, and we spent quite a bit of time talking to him (and staring at the biggest vermetid snail I've ever seen in my life LOL). I spotted the mushrooms right before we left, and he gave them to us free since it was my boyfriend's birthday! :D

Thanks! Yeah, we were looking for reds and blues. Seems everything in the tank is orange/brown LOL. Those top red ones the pic doesn't do them justice. The centers are hot pink. They're at the top of the tank, which means I lose most of the flash hitting them. I should try another with the camera sideways maybe.

I wish the purple palys were more purple...would that just be needing more blue light to bring that out to the eye when viewing? Any recommended placement in the tank to help out? They're pretty high right now because my teal palys turned brown being on the bottom...I moved them to the top and they're already getting their teal back. Just not sure how that works with the blues/purples.
