    Can you make a small refugium tank(15"L x 12"D x 12"H) out of plexiglass?

You can buy a 20g tank at Wal-mart for about $30. How big are you going to make it.

    (15"L x 12"D x 12"H) roughly, what are the demensions for a 20g? The space that I have is 16"L X 30"H X 14"D. I want to connect it to my wetdry/sump which is 30"L X 13"W X 18"H. What do you think/suggest?

20 gallon dimensions 24.125" L, 12.375" D, 16.625" H, what about at 14 gallon high, don't know the actual dimensions though, probably too long, I would just make one out of acrylic or polycarbonate

dont use polycarbonate, use acrylic which is plexiglass, use weld-on 2 part #40, for inner walls use 1 part # 16

why not use a std 5g tank - It's not much smaller than the dims you're looking for. Get a couple panes of glass from hardware store to use as baffles.

The whole thing can be done for less than $15, and it's a lot less trouble than trying to DIY with acrylic / plexi.

All you need is a max of 10 gallon size tank get a rubbermaid letter file box from a Lowe's or a old tank Acrylic is not cheap and if you mess up its wasted and or you could have a blow out.. But a 20 is far to large for a 90 reef .

doesnt look pretty but i agree with tangy, if you go this route get a heavy duty type so it wont crack as easily in the future. an plastic under the desk trash can will work.
