Aaaaahhh!!!. Ugh. Please help.

So I checked my email today. I had nearly 3,000 unread emails! Why so many? Well, lets click, "inbox" & find out...I had somehow accidentally changed my settings to auto subscribe to every thread I posted on.: I have, since I set this setting,(I don't know when I did it..) auto subscribed to 506 threads. (Yes, that's counting this one. lol)

I have already erase all my emails. Someone please help me change this setting back so it doesn't auto-subscribe! :-/

lol. Thanks. I thought it was funny too. It's getting annoying now that I have so many though.

 

User CP --> Edit Options, scroll down to messaging. There is an option there where you can change notifications about subscriptions.

 

Click on USER CP at the top right, click on edit options and go down to messaging and notification, go to default subscription mode and select the mode you wish to use then save your changes.

yea I used to have that problem.. I finally clicked no email notification.. now, I just click View Subscriptions under action panel to see whats up.

 

haha. Now I remember why I had done this originally. I guess I had misread that part? I thought(originally) I was setting it to "instant email" to automatically email me when I subscribe to a thread, not auto subscribe when I post.
