AAAAAHHHHH please help!

ok so let it go for a few hours. then test? this is the water that came right out of the membrane just a couple meinutes after installing it. ill run it for a while and see what happens.

should i also start using the DI now or later? im guessing i should run the RO till its ready then put in the DI but this is my first machine so im not sure.

tds or well water: 345
what should it be after the membrane?

I don't have a whole lot of experience with RO/DI units in general, but I know your target TDS is always Zero.

 

yea but after that RO there will still be TDS. its the DI that takes that all the way to zero.

 

Correct, expect 10-30 after the RO

Please try to keep this in one thread and put something in the title as to what it concerns so you will get a better response. Multiple threads on the same subject get to be a hassle and not telling what you are looking for in the title doesn't help either.

 

Not too sure but throwing this out, is it possible that you hooked the membrane up backwards? Just thinking this would flush out anything that the membrane has caught and cause a high tds? sorry I can't be more help.

 

Instructions say to leave the RO running through 3hrs before actual use. Mine is a 50g per day.
