I was just fixing the media holder thing, that I put CupriSorb in and some got into the tank(tablespoon maybe). I vacumned as much as I could out but I know that stuff is so small it's still in there. Will this hurt my tank? How, and, do I need to get it all out?? Any suggestions??

I wouldn't worry about it, it shouldn't hurt anything.

Got a Cu problem? - Don't overlook Bio-Meds Poly Filter.

    Worked wonders for me...

    (1) No particulate release.
    (2) No leachable or extractable monomers, ions (anions, cations), binders, or cross-linking agents.
    (3) No desorption upon saturation.
    (4) Linear absorption/adsorption chemical filtration properties.
    (5) True color changes indicating filter function and replacement timing, i.e., blue - copper; red = iron; green = free copper ions; brown = normal organic loading; and black = heavy organic loading.
    (6) Effective removal (absorption/adsorption) of low molecular weight organics, volatile organics, high molecular weight organics, and ultra-high molecular weight organics.
    (7) Effective performance under adverse conditions such as water conditioners and slime coat restorers.
(8 ) Removal of chelated and non-chelated metal complexes.
    (9) Guaranteed quality control by the actual media manufacturer (Poly-Bio-Marine)

Not real sure if copper was the problems to all my algae problems and my snails dieing a lot. I've tried everything and this was my last resort. I have lowered the time my lights are on and it seems to have helped a lot. I also am doing more water changes(1x per week) and even though there is still a little algae and cyano, I hear that's normal , now to keep it under control! Thanks for the info!

The cupisorb will not harm anything and the poly mat is not anywhere as good as the cupisorb and the Kent's metal polymer is the best I run a metal polymer all the time why not it cost nothing to run and will pull out some of the metal by products of the exhausted elements . that will build up and over load a tank.. The carbon can't do it all.

I learned as a child from my old grandfather a life lesson after I opened my mouth on a subject I had little idea about during a conversation of two adults Back when kids where seen and not heard! "QUOTE" You *&^%^&*()( (*&^&*() Idiot its best to sometimes just stand there and look like a (*&*((*( fool and keep your mouth shut rather then open your )(*&*()( **&^^^& Mouth and remove all doubt ... Since that chewing out I never repeat anything I have read or talk about anything I don't no.. I only speak from experience.. I have always Ran my business and personal life by that simple rule .. It works LOL
