Is it safe to assume a red frag will need the least amount of light(for SPS corals)?

 

I have found the greens to require the least. I have yet to get a hold of a red acro. I know they exist, they are just stupid rare.

 

That's a shame. I'm sure they would look cool.

 

My red planet seems to like it up at the top of my tank, 4" from the surface, under 6x39W T5. Red planet is a red acro (in case "red planet" didn't give it away lol).

I consider a Red Planet to be a green acro, with red polyps. The polyps do not actually do much for photosynthesis.

 

Yessir. They're also tabling like that millepora. I think tabling acros still grow and can do decently if they don't have proper flow, but not into the "table" form that they normally grow into in the wild. The biggest issue with flow is keeping things off of them. You really don't want anything to get caught in or on an acro.
