My 110 gallon is slightly bowing out. Like if you look down it sideways you can see it bowed out with water in it or if you look straight down from the top the water makes it look like the bottom is a bowfront look. Is this normal for acrylic tanks. I mean the euro brace is all good but it just looks a little weird.

Definitely normal. Glass tanks do the same thing. It's just not as noticeable.:)

I would be concerned of any bowing, but if the tank structure seems to be intact and not damaged, i would think it should be ok. However, keep an eye on it.

Unless it is an actual bowfront, then I would go with no. Is the tank new to you?

Wow, that's a lot of hight for such a thin sheet. I can see that bowing. I wouldn't be knocking on the tank if I were you.

Yes they do. Is this thing safe or not? Ive read on the net that they can bow up to 1/2 depending on the make of the acrylic. Im just wondering if anyone elses acrylic tank bows a little.
