Add on DI questions?

I recently bought a RO and from what I read I am going to get a add on DI. My RO has the drinking water system with pressurized tank and faucet. I was wonder how to plumb it? My RO is a GE and seem to have the fairly standard color coated plumbing. Also your not suppose to drink DI'ed water?

I just have heard that. I am wondering what could possibly be in 0 TDS water. I mean it is water isn't it?

 

The theory being touted is that there is so much "nothing" in the water that it will actually draw the minerals and such from your body and digestive system. RO/DI is supposedly the best solvent in the world. Actually , just plain water is too. I say, Pshaw! Drink away! Walter, from Air, water, and ice drinks it as well (according to some commentary on his website). It just has like, no taste! ;D

 

Okay does anyone have any ideas on the plumbing? I was hoping to order the right stuff when i get it to avoid having to order stuff a second time.
