I already do 10% a week, I was hoping to add the chaeto to add a little help.

Definitely can't do a sump, theres just no room and I don't want to get into all the plumbing etc.

Swisswiss- is that a breeder box? Thats what I was thinking of doing.

If I could I would make my own box I would buy a small plastic container, drill holes and add suction cups. My concern is the plastic in the tank, I need something safe.

    Thank you.

I thought I would give the chaeto a try in a small container and if I don't like it or nothing happens, I can ditch it.

Suction cups are not a good idea. They fail

+1 the box you see just floats around, the suction cups have lost their elasticity. what i have noticed though it that once it grows out in the box it tends to keep a "ball shape" better. and thats ideal for tumbling without it shredding

My chaeto mass- still have alot, although I've given about 75% away-

never 'tumbled'- a myth that it has to tumble.

Agreed on that. The premise behind this is that it needs a lot of flow and access to light on all sides. Todd has proved if you blast it with tons of light it will multiply like crazy!!
